Terms & conditions

These terms are an agreement between you and Alphabet ("we", "us") covering the TVTracker website, web app and mobile apps (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Give accurate details, and keep your password and devices secure. Activity under your account is your responsibility.
• One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone, and do not use a username designed to mislead.
• You can delete your account at any time, yourself, from Settings. See Deleting your account.

Acceptable use

Do not:

• Post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, or sexually explicit, or anything that infringes someone else's rights.
• Spam, or use the service to advertise.
• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download the service, or hammer the API beyond ordinary personal use. Rate limits exist and circumventing them is a breach of these terms.
• Attempt to break, probe or reverse-engineer the service, or access another account.
• Upload malware, or content you do not have the right to upload.

We may remove content, and suspend or close accounts, that breach these rules — and we will act faster where there is a risk to other people.

Your content

Your ratings, comments, lists and uploaded images stay yours. You keep all rights in them. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, and to show it to the people your privacy settings allow. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything you would not want associated with your name.

Film and show data

TVTracker does not host, stream or supply any film or television content. Titles, descriptions, artwork and ratings come from third parties, including TMDB, OMDb and JustWatch. This product uses those services but is not endorsed or certified by any of them, and we cannot guarantee that their data is complete, current or correct. Where-to-watch information is indicative — check with the provider.

All trademarks, artwork and titles belong to their respective owners.

Our content

The TVTracker name, logo and the software itself belong to us. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer any ownership.

Availability and changes

The service is free, and provided as-is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We will give reasonable notice of a change that materially reduces what the service does, where we can.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury, or fraud.

Export your data if it matters to you. Settings → Data.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. If we close your account without cause, you keep the right to export your data first where that is practical.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date at the top when these terms change, and tell you in the app if the change is significant. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
